Munay Ki

Life is an exploration of deepening and refining. When I was lying on the couch 20 years ago, "exhausted," that was the starting point of a new phase of my life's journey. Everything is energy, I thought. So let me make sure I can work with energy.

I learned shiatsu, Do-In, studied nutrition, and also delved into the energy that words carry, for example. Once I had refined these, I took lessons with shamans, who enriched my previous experiences—Eastern medicine has a shamanic basis. During that part of my journey, I received all kinds of initiations. Some of these are part of the Munay Ki, for which I am certified to pass them on in a traditional way.

I have had the privilege of receiving and giving all the Munay Ki initiations multiple times, and I am trained to pass them on in a traditional way. This is a series of 10 initiations, rituals that allow you to further refine your energy work. But above all, they refine your energy body and make you an earthkeeper—someone who lives from a love for the earth and has an eye for living in balance with it. They initiate you as a kurak akuyak: someone who understands the language of energy and can convey this in clear words.

I also see this love and fascination for the earth and earthkeepership reflected in Eastern medicine. Ancient texts like the Neijing Suwen describe how the "wise" live in harmony with the earth and the seasons. In this way, my shamanic adventures enrich my work as a trainer at Fo-In Academy and the way I tailor my weekly Do-In classes to the moment.

Curious about the Munay initiations? I offer them in person online spread over a period of time. Another initiation I pass on, which I received from Juan Victor Apaza and Don Francisco Apaza, is the Nusta Karpay. This is an initiation for those who work or want to work more with feminine energy and deepen their connection with it.
