Do-In: Deep Attunement

With the centuries old meridian based art of movement Do-In, you're free to combine exercises into a perfect sequence.

I was invited to teach at a wonderful festival that will be held next year. Do-In was on the organizers' wish list because—unlike many forms of yoga and Eastern medicine—we don't rely solely on fixed sequences. Of course, there are traditional sequences once composed by an enlightened soul. But as a Do-In teacher, you turn to sensing the energy of the moment and creating the ideal lesson based on it.

It's much like an acupuncturist: they don't have a fixed treatment plan for a specific complaint or client. The treatment is always tailored to what can be analyzed at that moment. This is precisely how, during the training at the Do-In Academy, you gradually learn to create fully attuned sequences.

You'll learn to work with ancient models such as the five elements and the organ clock, and to apply these to meridian stretching, meditations, and dynamic movements. You'll also learn to combine this with nutrition and acupressure.

You'll learn to trust your own insights and intuition, enabling you to create series that address the challenges of today's society.

The new academic years begin in January. More information can be found at www.doinacademy.com/en
