What is shamanism?

Shamanism is associated with traditional indigenous cultures, but modern times also have a great need for shamans. Shamans sense what life needs from them through meditative rituals. In this way they investigate how we can live in a way that makes sense. You step into the flow of life or, to use a term from Taoist teachings, you experience the principle of wu wei.

As a shaman, you therefore have contact with layers of energy other than those observable with the physical eye and in everyday reality. This is called "the otherworld". Through contact with these other layers, as a shaman you can gain more insight into disease processes or imbalances in life and also work with that energy to bring about healing. The focus is not on possible treatment of a disease, but on creating the condition for health.

Shamanic consultations

Thanks to my extensive work with the meridians and acupoints, during shamanic readings and healings I am able to see which elements, meridians and acupoints can use support.

Shamanism naturally finds its place within my work with Eastern medicine. This is not new: originally, Eastern medicine is shamanistic in nature. So my path took me back to the source.

You experience a shamanic session as a meditation. You also get:

balance and healing of meridians, acupoints, chakras and the aura;
a better picture of your energy pattern;
insight into how you can connect even better with your life energy;
a new perspective on your life;
the ability to transform old patterns;
It is also sometimes possible to regain energy that has been lost at significant moments. This is called "Soul part retrieval" and goes hand in hand with personal growth;
During on-site sessions, I can combine shiatsu with energetic work if desired.
